Need a place to do business?

 

The Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce’s large and small conference rooms are available for meetings and workshops. Completed in 2006, The BorgWarner Morse TEC Large Conference Room has an incredible view overlooking Cayuga Lake and can hold up to 44 people. The room can be broken down into groups of 2, 3, or 4 tables for break-out sessions and can also be set up classroom style for lectures. Tables can also be situated in a large rectangle for large group discussions. The Chamber’s Small Conference Room can hold up to 8 people in large, comfortable chairs around an oval table.

 

The rooms can only be rented to Chamber members in good standing and are available on a first come, first served basis.

 

Refunds will be issued to groups that cancel if notice of cancellation is made 10 business days prior to the scheduled date. No refunds are made if the cancellation occurs after that date.

 

Each room is well-equipped with:

  • Projection screen for presentations
  • Large Dry Erase White board
  • Wireless High speed internet access
  • Wireless telephone for conference calling
  • A/V: An LCD projector or computer connection to HD TV is also available for rental (see below).

 

Coffee service is also available for an additional cost.  Renters must provide their own food and must clean up the room and return it to its original configuration upon leaving. The Chamber’s deck is available for breaks. The Chamber generally has 15-20 parking spaces available. Additional parking is available nearby at Stewart Park or you may shuttle attendees as well. Please do not park on our grass under any circumstances.

 

Rental hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday-Friday.  If you need the room before 8:00 AM or after 5:00 PM there will be an additional fee.

 

The Chamber reserves the right to cancel advance reservations with 60 days notice or any event that generates enough noise to interfere with the day-to-day operations of the Chamber.  The meeting room may not be used for private social functions such as showers, birthday parties, etc, or for fundraisers. Renters will need to supply the Chamber with an insurance liability certificate from their carrier, naming the Chamber as an additionally insured for $1M for the date of the rental.


Rental Fees:

Monday through Friday (no holidays), 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

 

BorgWarner Morse TEC Large Conference Room Rates:


For Profit Businesses:
• $50 per hour with a 3 hour minimum = minimum of $150 
• $65 per hour if A/V equipment is needed/used.


Not For Profit Businesses:
• $35 per hour with a 3 hour minimum = minimum of $105
• $50 per hour if A/V equipment is needed/used.

 

Small Conference Room Rates:
• $35 per hour, 2 hour minimum ($70).

 

$75 per hour for rental between 7-8 AM or 5 to 8 PM

 

Coffee Service:
$2 per person
